Test ride the Commute

Skip the jam.

A 12 km commute that takes 45 minutes by car takes about 30 on a Volta, door to door, and you arrive without needing a change of shirt.

Tech that disappears when you ride.

The parts that make a Volta feel like you suddenly got stronger, not like a scooter.

Bicycle racks at Sentul station
Ask a mechanic, in personEvery showroom has one on the floor, Tuesday to Sunday. No booking needed.
Do I need a licence or insurance?

It depends on the class of bike and the current rules. Every Volta is pedal-assisted to 25 km/h, and our team explains what applies to your model at the test ride.

How do I charge it?

Plug the charger into the battery on the bike, or carry the battery indoors and charge it there. Any normal wall socket works; a full charge takes about four hours.

Can I ride in the rain?

Yes. The motor, battery and display are sealed for everyday wet weather. Avoid deep standing water and pressure washers.

What if the battery runs out?

Keep pedalling. The frame and gearing are made to ride comfortably with the assist off, and the lights keep a reserve.

Where do I park it?

Lock the frame and turn on the GPS alert in the app. Many LRT and MRT stations, Sentul among them, have bicycle racks.

How does servicing work?

Your first service is free. After that, book any Volta partner workshop; the app reminds you when a service is due.
